Wednesday February 16th-Friday February 18th

On Wednesday I had a couple fails at school. At first I walked into the wrong classroom (luckily the class hadn't started yet) When I attempted to get a snack from the snack machine later on in the day, it cost 1.30 euros, but the 1 was covered up with something so like an idiot with a line forming behind me, I continued to put in 30 cents and pushing the code. When I said the machine wasn't working, the girl behind me told me it costed 1.3o... that was embarrassing. Then I proceeded to wait outside a full classroom for my class which wasn't my class. Luckily that took care of the fails for a couple days haha.
On Thursday, I had my one literature class which went better than usual. Walking into that class is like walking into a sauna, but luckily a guy in my class realized that he could open the window from the outside because it is too tall for anyone to reach. I plan on doing that for the other classes I have in that room. Analyzing the poems went a lot easier than usual since I had spend an hour the night before looking up the twenty some words I didn't know. After Maggie and I had lunch, she took a long nap while I relaxed with a book which was great. And then I ended up taking an impromptu 20 minute nap. We ended up just hanging out at home that night because Maggie had to get up for a make up class on Friday morning. That is one of the things that I don't like about Spanish academics. If a teacher is gone, they can schedule the make up class whenever they want. For all we know they could have just not felt like showing up one day and would rather show up that friday.
Earlier on thursday I had snuck a bowl from the kitchen to eat some granola. I wanted to snatch some milk too but I knew that would be pushing it. After eating the granola I just hid the bowl in my closet and planned on putting it in the wash later that night. The bowls are in a cabinet stacked by other dish ware so I figured no one would notice if I borrowed one for a day. but low and behold, later that night my Senora comes in and asked if we had a white bowl. I was not expecting that, because that means she went in and counted the bowls in the pantry. No one ever uses those bowls. So I just played dumb (like my senora does when we ask for something that she doesn't want to make for us, or if we make a rebuttle to something she is accusing us of) and said, "Oh, I don't know, I don't understand" and then I went and washed it and put it back after she went to bed.

  1. Regarding the bowl, that sounds like something I would have done. And the fails at school, those sound like things I HAVE done.
